Note that Winter's SWAT pistol was to use a special new cartridge, .408 bullet diameter, similar in size and shape to the 41 Remington Magnum, but not at all interchangeable with that round.
The new .408 cartridge would be restricted for law-enforcement only and it would come with very special ammunition designed for urban combat.

Chinese LW-3 shotgun, designed in 2010, talked about a little bit in 2012, and never seen since.
I guess they made a few prototypes / demo models.

Yep.

My dad was a firefighter and he had to fire a line throwing gun in practice and training back in the late 50s. I think he told me that it was based on an eight gauge shotgun, and nobody would ever fire it from their shoulder. They would put the butt of it on the ground, tip the gun at the correct angle, and then fire it.
