Speaking of old -school weapons-mounted lights, does anyone know what this light is called & what year it was patented?

It's the Seely Night Sight invented in 1911 and patented in 1912. 1902 was the first attempt at a weapon light, but the Seely was the first one to function under recoil via delicate Swiss watch springs and rubber cushions for the little bulb.

I've got nothing.

Looks like a very modern semi-auto centerfire pistol, probably .380 caliber to keep it quiet, integrally-suppressed barrel system.

Made for spies and assassins maybe? The sights look too crude to be used by tactical ops guys.

hint for everyone : it is South African and based off the Roth-Steyr M1907 pistol. Also this pistola is a 9mm.
