That's been a few years back wasn't it? Seems like I recall the pics of the custom work it took to get 1911 mags in that Mauser action. Pretty cool project.

Not that anyone asked, but because this is a weird gun thread, here's my favorite rifle. Rhineland Arms .45ACP mauser conversion. Extractor from the factory was crapola pot metal. Nonliberal made me a new one. Not sure what this stock even is anymore. Got it from midway I think. Silencerco osprey on the end. This thing really is Hollywood quiet. Pfft.....DING! I like it alot.
