Nope. It’s actually fairly old, is in a caliber that well-known in civilian and LE circles (but has seen limited use in the military), and was made to be vehicle-mounted.
dammit, you got me looking at pictures of armored vehicles, armored motor transport (money trucks) and armored limousines from the 1930s to the 1950s.

21 shot .357 Magnum from 1959. Developed for law enforcement, it was designed to be centrally mounted on the hood of the patrol car, so the officer could shoot at fleeing vehicles. It was fired 1 round at a time.

For 25 years I had a NFA registered Street Sweeper with the barrel bobbed to 12 inches and for much of the time the stock was completely removed. The resulting weapon firing 12 gauge shells from a 12 round rotating cylinder drum was kind of similar to this Manville thing. Except you didn't have to disassemble it to load it and reload it. (It was like a single action cowboy revolver with a side loading gate and an ejection rod next to the barrel.)
