Nope. It’s actually fairly old, is in a caliber that well-known in civilian and LE circles (but has seen limited use in the military), and was made to be vehicle-mounted.
 
For 25 years I had a NFA registered Street Sweeper with the barrel bobbed to 12 inches and for much of the time the stock was completely removed. The resulting weapon firing 12 gauge shells from a 12 round rotating cylinder drum was kind of similar to this Manville thing. Except you didn't have to disassemble it to load it and reload it. (It was like a single action cowboy revolver with a side loading gate and an ejection rod next to the barrel.)
