Those Remington rifles are super light weight too. Handled a few many years ago and couldn’t believe how light they were.

Yeah, it felt like as light as a Charter Arms AR-7 survival rifle, but the Remington's "size" was normal or even bigger/bulkier than many other rimfire rifles.

That would be a Reck. Made in Germany and popular in the 60’s until GCA68 stopped importation. I have one of the similar Wischo .25.

Yep. They have a great similarities to another 25 caliber Saturday night special-- I think it's the Raven. Safety's in a different place, though.

But these guns are pre-1968 so they haven't been tested to be drop safe from 4 feet onto concrete etc. And they really were made in West Germany instead of being made in America from imported parts to get around the junk handgun ban.

A friend of mine has a Reck that has been imported by Spesco of Atlanta Georgia and they call it the model P 51. The name "Reck" does not appear on it, but we all know what it is.

Indeed it is. I always liked the idea of a pocket sized full auto .25 automatic with a 20 rd. double feed magazine.
