Is this clone of a Colt 1873 Peacemaker made by the Great Western Arms Company of Los Angeles-- a company that supplied many of the guns used in Hollywood films in the 1950's and '60's?

Indeed it is. This one was made in LA in 1956. Great Western Arms made peacemakers for John Wayne as well as other stars…
