This one...

isn't as hard as it looks.

What is the long gun at the far end of the gun rack and Sheriff Andy Taylor's office in Mayberry?

My bad... I said "far end" and you thought I meant farthest from Deputy Fife.

But the picture only shows the last two guns on the right side of what was a full gun rack of probably a dozen.

I zoomed in for the purposes of posting the photo here.

Hmmm... that's not the one I had in mind, but maybe that's a possibility??

I'm having to study the size of the en bloc loading clip for each of those models (Steyr 1895 and the rifle that I thought this thing was.)

Schla, the Photo I provided does not have enough resolution to distinguish between the Steyr-Mannlicher rifle of 1895

and a milsurp Italian Carcano rifle or carbine, erroneously called a "Mannlicher-Carcano" by the Warren Commission report because that Carcano rifle uses an en bloc clip like the Mannlicher did.

And both clips would drop free when fired to empty, falling through that slot at the bottom of the magazine.

So, you get credit for that. Your turn!
