4 to 12 sight it in on 8 power and I shoot all my variables on 6. if I could get a straight 6x I would have em on everything

For a different type of mounting system than you have. Don't worry about it.

You've got a lot more experience using a scope than Crip does. Lowest setting is going to be best at first.
