Let's hear your dukes creek advice!

I'm an intermidiate fly fisherman and will be hitting dukes creek for the first time in November. I've only fished the hooch so far mainly dead drifting wooly buggers and nymphing. Any gear, tips, spots to hit, spots to avoid etc would be greatly appreciated.

Park at the bridge crossing near the end of the road, walk about 1/4 mile upstream until you get to a big bend with a "birdhouse" in a swampy area across the creek. Pull across the sandbars slowly and hold on.
