I got a Robinson Armament XCR M. Originally it was a 9.5 inch 308 but as soon as they came out with the 8.6 Blackout barrel I grabbed it

Suppressor is a OCL/5 Rivers Defense 8.6 Blackout Hydrogen L.

Are you seeing a huge balistic difference from others with a 12 inch barrel and that particular twist rate?

Love the build!
Wouldn't know, never really compared it to any others. All I can tell you is it loves the Gorilla 342gr expanding subs, it doesn't really like the Gorilla 300gr Sierra Matchking subs.

I can post the ballistic chart I worked up for it on a ballistic calculator if you want to see it. Only really have it for the 342gr round right now and that's what the rifle is zeroed for.

I love the gun though, quiet and about as much recoil as my 300bo SBR.

Custom build, custom cerakote, 12 inch barrel, Rugged Alaskan 360 suppressor.

Also I said to hell with that 1/3 twist rate garbage and ordered the barrel with a 1/6.5 twist.

Damn dude I absolutely love that!! I want an 8.6 or .338 arc. I love the .338. I want a lapua but I don’t have anywhere to shoot one. The smaller .338s seem like they would be cool as hell. Maybe a .338 spectr with a can?!

It is pretty damn cool. Shoots great, quiet, soft recoil. Honestly though, if I hadn't already owned a can that would handle .338, and would have had to buy a can for it too, I'd have went with .375 Raptor instead. Don't get me wrong, I love my 8.6, but the .375R is superior in pretty much everything. Also, I kinda thought the 8.6 would take off more than it has and ammo prices would come down some as more manufacturers would produce ammo for it, but I seem to have guessed wrong on that one. As it is, I could get .375R ammo for about the same price as 8.6.
