Lets see your roller lock gun porn( mp5,g3, ptr’s)

Make sure to get some feeler gauges and check your bolt gap, see if you think you’ll need some + 2 or + 4 rollers to keep on hand for later.

Depending on your bolt gap right now may need -/+ rollers just to get in spec .010 (min) - .020 (max) with .018 being the sweet spot.

Extractor springs are number 1 maintenance item. One malfunction can bend an extractor spring out of spec.

If you don’t have a gen 3 German ejector lever in yours go ahead and get one and use your gen 1 as a back up.

I got a recoil spring because reverse stretch uses a proprietary size and wanted to secure that.

If you’re gonna run a K variant suppressed with 147 grab a #28 80 degree locking plate for your bolt or you’ll seriously risk damaging your receiver (roller dents)

Roller retaining plates (plate style gen 1) have a tendency to fracture over time or if you’ve swapped rollers and scored the plate trying to knock the roll pin back in and missing the hole. I bought some plates and a corresponding amount of roll pins to secure them.

I grabbed extra extractor claw, ejector spring and axel, firing pin & spring as well.

Wondering if I should put #28 80 locking plate in my c89 clone then ?

I like that stock. Kinda wish I hadn’t got the SB now . What is it ?
I find the SB locks up tighter than the 1913 dogleg brace personally

Is your C89 a 4.5/5.5” barrel? If it’s a PK model you NEED to run the 80 degree locking plate. Dudes wreck their MP5ks ignoring that HK rule. The reason they don’t come on the clones is because they’re shipped in true MP5k pistol fashion and require a 100/110 degree plate to function without the mass produced from a stock and the backpressure created from the suppressor. The second you throw a stock/brace and a can on there you’ve created the HK “PDW” and that combination will send the BCG back towards the rear so fast when it strikes the stock buffer it will force the rollers to expand in the rear of your receiver and cause bulges to appear on your rails.

Thanks. It's all from PTR. Not sure if they sell it separately or not. Might be worth checking their website or calling them up about it. Maybe someone else knows. I'll probably put the traditional looking SB folding brace on it eventually as well. Going to take it to the range as it sits to see how the 1913 SB brace reacts and to test the one ETS mag I've got as well. Hopefully it runs without issue.

Shouldn’t have a problem. I’ve had great luck with ETS but maybe I’m just lucky? Only thing I noticed about the 1913 rail braces is a lot of vertical and horizontal movement when shooting them. The SB locks up tight as the true B&T stock.

The Coharie CA89 is the full size with 8” barrel and it will be shot suppressed some

You’re good my friend, full size mp5 should be fine to run the supplied 100 degree locking plate suppressed or un-suppressed.
Thanks. It’s what I was told , but , you know a LOT about these things. I’m just getting into them. I thank you for helping me AND you’ve saved me a lot of grief as well as money ! I owe you ! Ordering stuff tomorrow.
