It's not dropping them that's the problem mostly. It is the slide being manipulated by bumping the grip which separates the firing pin from the sear while in the holster that causes the firing pin to disconnect from the sear. Shooting yourself in the leg. If you are military or law enforcement grappling with a bad guy constantly bumping and manipulating the grip is what causes the discharge.

You people don't have a mechanical mind to solve this issue in your head. But go ahead and carry them if you want and if SHTF and you get into a grappling fight good luck.

I always thought one idea behind carrying was so that you don't have to roll around on the ground playing grabass.

I ain't followed this situation very close but it seems like Sig is pulling a Volkswagen move and just ignoring the situation. Remember when the gubment caught VW with engine computers that would alter the emissions output when they were being tested? And when they got caught they claimed they weren't doing anything wrong AND they weren't gonna stop doing it.
Why not come clean and try to put a positive spin on a bad situation?
