I've seen several pics like this from Libya, with dudes just flat out pointing their rifles at their buddy's noggin. I understand these guys are not trained soldiers, but my god they should at least understand the business end of that thing they're holding.

I wonder if there has have even been one "Whoa....hey bud...Abdullah, listen, I know you've got a lot on your plate right now...we all do...but uh can you just point that thing that way, and this is like the third time I've mentioned it. No biggie, just trying to not to get my face shot off here in the back of the Toyota..."

I seen a video of a foriegn military in formation.
The guy in the second row tried to cock his ak and it slam fired,
shooting the hat of the soilder in front of him.

Weapons safety is cultural and hasn't actually been that big a thing in the U. S. for that long. Watch an old John Wayne movie and you'll freak out. He sweeps the hell out of everyone around him and even intentionally uses it to point at people. I love the guy, but it was definitely a different time. Yeah, I know it's just a movie, but he was a shooter in real life and I doubt it was different then.
