Howa Mini Action 6.5 Grendel, JTAC Elf Owl, and NF NXS 2.5-10x32mm

Bought a Howa Mini Action in 6.5 Grendel. Installed a 20MOA rail and adjusted the HACT trigger. Had the barrel cut to approximately 14.5” and a Silencerco brake pinned and welded.

Bought a JTAC Elf Owl chassis with collapsing stock off a guy. He paid $620 for it, didn’t like it, and I picked it up for $375 shipped.

I was leaning towards the Nightforce F1 NX8 2.5-20x50mm, but may go with the NX8 F1 4-32x50mm instead.

She’ll be a lightweight, compact little rig. These have a great reputation for accuracy, so I’m very curious.

Barreled action installed in the chassis. 27 5/8” OAL when collapsed, 6lbs 12.8oz (without mag).

Thinking of leaving the chassis color as a base, and having a camo pattern Cerakoted on it. Here’s a few patterns that I’ve come across. Liking the third one so far. It’s a 1943 German pattern called Sumpftarnmuster (Swamp Pattern).

Nightforce NX8 F1 4-32x50mm scope ordered, but with the shortage on apparently everything, I won’t see it until July.

In for the camo look. Nice set up but that color is well let's just say I changed to many diapers in my day. A nice camo job would tie it all together.
Not trying to dis you at all I just think the camo job would be an improvement.

I love this gun and concept. You don’t think that nightforce will overwhelm it? I had a 5-25 ATACR on a PRS gun and it was just too big.
