Looking to add a steel frame hangun to my collection. I thibk I got it narrowed down to two choices. I cant decide so im goin to ask you all. Should I get a sig 229 or a cz75. I prefer 40 cal. If yall have any other choices that would be better ill look at em. Help me make up my mind

CZ. Better ergos and lower bore axis. Plus you can add a short reset disconnector and still have more money left over than the 229, and it's way better than the Sig short reset.

CZ short reset trigger versus 226 short reset. EDIT: The amount of pre-travel in the single action of the Sig short reset trigger is basically how a standard CZ trigger is WITHOUT a short reset trigger.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. This will be my first steel framed hangun other than a couple 1911's I let get away. Have owned mostly Glocks an a couple m&ps. Just feel like it time to have a lil wood an steel ya know?

CZ is a better shooter IMO but I Love 229s an If it were me I'd get a 229.

Out of curiosity, why not a 1911?
