When a fox gets infested with fleas, he picks up a stick,a piece of rabbit pelt, or tuft of straw etc then wades out into a body of water until only his nose is out of the water.
As he continues to submerge himself the fleas crawl up his body above the water level, he lowers his body further into the water until only his head is above water, he tilts his head back and lowers himself further until only the tip of his nose and the object in his mouth which is now loaded with all the fleas, is above he water line, he then ducks his head under and releases the object and all the fleas float away....
Foxes are smart critters ....

Bugs Bunny has a combo of the Bronx and Brooklyn accent. Even though these two boroughs (counties) are 14 miles apart , these accents are very different. Mel Blanc was a huge NYC accent fan.
But that no longer matters as all those statues will be removed and scrapped.
