Other than he is that old, I guess he used to be entertaining, I haven’t listened to him in about 15 years. Did I offend your ol ahhhh, when I brought up his age? If I did, I apologize . I’m always open to learning from my elders, they harbor a wealth of knowledge and life experience.

I just googled it because I was curious. He turned 80 this year.

As to the topic of the thread, I enjoy EVH and the Doctrinaires. Kimmer was a one trick pony and was glad to see him gone. Arum is affable enough, if a little vapid, but I rarely am near a radio when he is on. I do listen to EVH at least three or more times a week. Erickson is a little too smug for me....which is saying a lot. Overall, I like the format. Never much cared for Boortz one way or the other.

I don`t listen to anything while driving. Even on long trips. I prefer enjoying scenery. I got tired of talk shows years ago. Don`t care to listen to music anymore, either. As long as I hear the motor run ok, I`m happy.

I thought I was the only one. I drive a lot and usually never turn the radio on. I do lots of thinking.

Rush was my favorite followed by Boortz, even though he blocked me on X / Twitter.

To this day I have no idea why I was blocked.

I don't get what the hell is going on in terrestrial radio. Every time you turn it on it seems like the stations have been juggled around again. And how many Spanish and God forbid contemporary Christian stations does one market need?
