Bought this tool to diagnose the issue with the blower on the heat/AC in a 2006 econoline van. I guess a tool with instructions on 2006 media makes sense.

Found a manual online, seems pretty straightforward for what I want to do.

The real question and what I cannot glean from a wiring diagram for the 2006 E-250 is this.....


Although it's not connected or used apparently, what the heck is this harness in the right rear tail light assembly used for?
