Good on your brother for his find. Rifle looks to be in good shape overall. Ammo is expensive and hard to find, but he is not going to go out blazing away with it anyway. Almost 30-06 power level. I made the mistake of shooting mine prone once in an awkward position and that steel buttplate kicked mine!

awesome rifle. i wish mine had those sights. the mum on mine just has a x over it so its still visible. pretty cool to see. the only thing i have left from my grandfather and my dad shot his first deer with it. still have the antler mount too.
