Last month Walmart was clearing out their inventories of Savage Axis's (including in .223) at decent prices. The last place I saw one was in Oakwood. I doubt it's still there, but they didn't seem to be moving that fast, so maybe there's one left at a Walmart somewhere. Right now I think everybody's too busy buying guns for self-defense to go for bolt-action varmint guns. Good luck.
