I am looking for a light weight shotgun to get my girls started in the field. My son has a youth 20 ga Remington. It has a little too much recoil for my light weight 10 year old daughter. The 20 ga weight is not a problem. It can be youth or normal size. Kinda open to all kinds as well. Not wanting to break the bank for this one either. So I am not looking for Beretta's or expensive brands that would sell for $800-1000. Whats out there???

We have a Remington 870 Express in .410 at Acworth Guns. Mention this post and I'll take $520.00 plus tax, ($551.12 out the door). The tag price is $729.99.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=468895811 Starts at $575/ buy it now $800

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=469031713 Starts at $350 with no reserve

Both of the GB ones are plus shipping, plus transfer fee.

I like your 28 ga plan. Trouble is, only experienced shooters will use a 28, so only higher end guns seem to be made in that gauge. The least expensive 28 ga shotgun I found was a American Tactical Imports, Cavalry SX O/U. I have sent you a PM with a price.

I listed yesterday a very nice 28ga Franchi and today a Browning 410BPS. Both bought for my daughters that just didn't use them. Thanks Paul
