Looking for a 300blk trim die

I waited almost a year on one from Dillon. I was looking for a different one when it came in. Let me see what I can find. What are you going to use as a cutter?

I see a Redding in stock at Midway, at least one Lee on eBay. Are you looking for a certain brand?

Between the main sellers on the net, Midway, Grafs, Brownells, then eBay one should be able to find most any die.

I’m looking for a Dillon or a Whidden and none of them sell those, not even EBay. I found a Lyman, but was told to stay away from them. I want to process 223 to 300blk, so it MUST have the chip evacuation ports. A quick trim die will not work for this application, but thanks.

This says it is for the Dillon 1200. Do you think it would work?

Here is another one:

I have a Dillon and would be happy to provide measurements and/or photographs.

On that one, Be sure to purchase upper trim die lock nut separately ( Dillon part# 13559) .

Also if you are using a Dillon, you need the short toolhead:

I called Whidden yesterday, they said in 2 weeks they will have more in stock. I’m quite aware about the tool head situation, I cut and make my own tool heads. This is not my first redo with this, I already have one tool head set up for trimming 223 and I want a separate tool head for 300blk. And as far as the 13/16-20 lock nut don’t spend the $9 from Dillon and $10 for shipping when you can go to the auto parts store and pick up an axle nut which is the same 13/16-20 threaded as the lock washer for only $2.50. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the vacuum shroud……well I have that covered as well. I’m just trying to find a 300blk trim die either Dillon or Whidden. I was trying to get one before waiting 2 weeks, buts it’s not big deal.

Here is my 223 set up and it works like a dream, as fast as I can pull the handle. For 300blk I will get a shop vac. This is my Honey Badger set up. It’s 2 1/4hp compared to Dillion 1/4hp. and it cost less.
