Since just about everyone on the site has more knowledge than I do, I'm looking for help to identify this rifle stock.

I believe it is a Thompson Center and has definitely seen better days. It came out of a storage unit and I have no idea what I have or what it may be worth.

The mechanism still works and it is designed for an octagon barrel.

Any help is much appreciated. I am looking to sell it and have no idea what it is worth.

If you are interested in buying it, please send me a PM and I will get back to you ASAP. I am located in Commerce GA.

Hoping my pics load properly.

Thanks in advance.

If you can find a replacement barrel it would be worth more than has been indicated in this thread. Pics look to be just surface rust and if so it could be fixed up _if_ one could find another barrel. Without a barrel then yeah, it's not worth much probably.

If I remember correctly T/C made the White Mtn carbine and another one very similar that the name eludes my me ATM. The White Mtn carbine is a great, fun little muzzleloader to hunt with. My Dad has one that an old friend gave him about a year before he passed away. Dad still hunts with it every year and wouldn't consider hunting with any other muzzleloader.

I have one as well but it's been rather finicky in the loads it likes and I haven't had time to try different loads after the first range session with it. Dad's has always shot well w/ T/C maxi hunters (I think) and he's put quite a few deer in the freezer w/ it over the last 25 years or so. Only thing I wish was different on it is a set trigger like the Hawken.

Not my pic, I borrowed from the internet:
