Looking for people to train with (Free Instructor)

Howdy neighbor I to live of Fort Mountains, I to am an instructor retired and wheel chair bound currently. Hopefully one day I can join y'all.

Hey there, we can work with the chair for sure. I’m sure the indoor range in Jasper will work and we can probably get you at the outdoor ones too, I can double check them for access

Hey thanks, I don't plan to be in this thing long..Just had heavy back surgery 11 weeks ago and under physical therapy that comes out to the house...Hope to walk in the near future..

My best friend lives up in the Jasper area and has Grant parents step parents that live up in Blue ridge. He started collecting guns and he's got about 8,000. Just joking but he has a slew of them. It's nothing for him to go out and pay $4,000 for an HK weapon and never take it out of the box. I sent him a long email explaining the situation and I suggested that he get with you and take advantage of your knowledge. His name is Charles Boutin ( last name is pronounced Boo-Tan ). He works at State farm dealership in dawsonville and he's a real laid-back guy. He doesn't really deal with high pressure situations well. He really wants something that's just laid back and really wants a low pressure situation but but he is open to to critical instruction.

Send me a PM with your name and number so I can relay it to him. He's a stand-up guy. He and his wife live in Big canoe. His wife owns the State farm agency in dawsonville and he works with her.

He really wants to get out and shoot but he doesn't want to join Riverbend Gun club again. Riverbend is real nice venue but it's getting kind of a fraternity attitude among the members according to him. Nothing bothers me so I wouldn't worry about it but he is just real laid back and wants to be in a relaxed situation while he learns and shoots. It wasn't that way when I was a member. He has many many guns does he needs training with.

P it'll be the same thing with him just you know on and off kind of deal. He'll get a hankering for shooting and probably call you up and you guys can go. Me living up here in Virginia I don't get down there much to shoot with him. Just a little too far to drive for a range trip.🤣

I commend you on your offering of free training. I hate going to the range by myself as well. But for others to go to the range and have a certified instructor with them that's butter man! That's a very Noble gesture indeed. I suggest anybody up in that area to take him up on that offer because there's nothing like good training to improve your skills. I know all men like to think they have a down pat but there's nothing like good training to drill you on the basics and teach you certified techniques to make you a better shooter. What an awesome offer!

I really appreciate it man. I wish everyone was into some regular training but I understand the intimidation of walking onto a range you don’t know and just not wanting to get started so I’m trying to make it an easier and more efficient process for people

Not to try to undermine the OP, but your friend could also look for an Appleseed training event, either rifle or pistol, or both. There are a lot of events in Canton, and the cost is very reasonable - I think it's about $70 for two day event.
