Looking for an O-Pap AK Underfold. I can travel about anywhere to meet you.

Looking to pay cash, but I do have a new shield 9 mm with installed Apex trigger, extra mags and box/docs to put towards a trade.

Thanks,

No such animal imported since 1989, opap receiver is fixed stock. Specially, you are looking for late 80's American & Mitchell Arms model "AK-47 or M-90" as these were the only all Yugo/Serb assembled M70AB2 (under folders) imported without grenade gas blocks (like Opap), all others are US assembled out of a mix of imported & US parts on US receiver.

Thank you for the info, so what is this below, was listed as M70 Yugo? Looks like an O-Pap receiver. I tried to buy it, but it sold after I had already contacted the seller.

I need to do more research, with the importing and assembly in the US its difficult. I guess that's why the Pre Ban guns are so much more expensive.

Thanks,

new OPaps are wood fixed stock, so a M70B1 having 1.5mm RPK-type stamped receiver.. for the most part is 100% foreign made with CHF barrel. The front sight and gas block are civilian neutered versions.

new NPap DF underfolder is a M70AB1 having 1mm "non RPK"-type stamped receiver.. for the most part is 100% foreign made with CHF barrel. The front sight and gas block are civilian neutered versions.

*Underfolder in your photo is a M70AB2 having 1.5mm RPK-type stamped receiver.. for the most part is American built, with US receiver, US "non CHF" Barrel and assembled using mostly imported surplus small parts. These have military front sights and grenade type gas blocks. There are some exceptions as early kits entered the US with intact imported CHF barrels but they are still assembled in US on US receivers.

The late 80's Mitchell and American Arms under folders are the only (under folders) with thicker RPK receivers and non-grenade gas blocks. These generally sell in the $1800 and up range.

You know a lot about this AK varient! I have a new N-pap M70AB1 underfolder and a new O-Pap fixed stock. They don't have the gas block or bayonet lug. I was hoping to find a more original version with those features in an underfolder, but not looking to invest $1800; I guess that's the delegation with any collectible weapon.
