M&P 2.0 stopped functioning

do you have 2k rounds down the pipe without cleaning? did you inspect the firing pin? do you know the ammo? one time i bought some ammo that required a hammer pistol (vs striker)

I answered all that but yes the ammo is known to work in this rig.
A couple hundred rounds, no more than 300.
Firing pin visually compared to a new gun but I haven’t disassembled fully yet

Edit:
I’m sorry.
I just remembered this gun isn’t stock. This metal ODG frame I picked up used and it “has apex springs installed” it has been running great though. I don’t know if a frame with trigger springs would make a difference. The slide is stock.

I just took the striker and related parts out and cleaned them and dried them and reinstalled them. I’ll see if I can test fire at the in-laws place tomorrow

Please, no firing at the in-laws. Your wife will not be amused. Instead, with gun unloaded, drop a pencil , eraser first ,into barrel pointed up. Pull trigger to launch pencil for firing pin function.

Thanks. I tried this and both pistols react the same, the pencil jumps out a few inches
