I thought they made 2 guns fullsize 12 rd and compact 10 rd. I didn't know there were 2 different 10rd compact options. I'll have to do more research. Thanks for the info.

That's right, but they probably also make a 10-round mag for the full-size M&P22 for Kalifornia.

So will the 12rd mags from the full size gun work in the compact? I don't care that they will stick out of the grip, but will they function? Has anyone tried this? I have a full size and a bunch of mags....wouldn't mind picking up the compact if the mags work.

Seems like I read online that the mags are NOT interchangable between the compact and fullsize, but I may be wrong.

I'm sure somebody here knows.
