I have never fired a SOCOM medium187mph hows she shoot?

Haven't put a round down range... still has factory grease. I do hear good things though.

Maybe after the end of hunting season I'll run a few mags

I've got a first year SOCOM that has a lot of USGI parts in her. Had her tuned up my Hook Boutin (unitize gas system, replace and lap the sights, trigger job, etc). I built a folding stock for her.

Furthest I've ever tried to shoot her was 550yds at Spears Mountain in VA years ago. Target was a steel 2/3 IPSC silhouette. Using British RG ball and an Aimpoint CompM2, we had no issues making the target dance.

Those first year SOCOM 16s are prized M1As.
I shot one in 2004, it was in a prototype TROY MCS - I liked it.

Thats a great looking stock and Ol Hook was the best so I know that shes a gem.
