anyone got any pointers on adding a side rail to a non side rail equipped ak. or know of a professional gunsmith who would do it . (ballpark figure on price?)

If you don't have any luck with a side mount the ultimak picatinny mount that replaces the gas tube works great for a forward mounted optic like an Aimpoint. I tried a couple of different setups and like it the best.

thanks 4 advice . i really want to mount a 4by9 scope on it just 4 fun at the range. and maybe good ammo comparison. just always wondered how it would perform with a good hunting scope mounted
