Magnum morels

I found a nice patch of yellow morels yesterday in my usual spot. It's like clockwork this time of year. Sautéed some in fresh raw milk butter last night with a little garlic.....fantastic

Nice haul. I need to find out when and where to hunt them here in GA. I suspect that we are near the end of season here in the lower (warmer) area of GA. I'm guessing higher elevations for the rest of the season.

Nice ! I have great memories of hunting morels. I found some that would blow your mind. No pics
back waaay before cell phones. Great eating and fun to hunt while out in the fresh air.

A lot of folks find them around dead poplars. Thos right there come from a shady creek banks under privet hedge. Every year that spot produces within a week of April 10.
