Opinions on the Magpul Hunter 700... wondering how they compare to other stocks for the money?

I have one and like it, I used it on a VTR and it works great , the detachable mag system works great and its comfortable to shoot , NO it is not a 550.00 stock but its a nice choice for what it cost
I agree! Its a great stock and serves its purpose very well. The detachable mag system is great and I never had issues with mine. For the money you can't go wrong. Magpul takes time to develop and test their products, and it shows.

It's no $500-600 chassis, but it's a lot of stock for the money. Really like mine.

Thanks guys... I went online to GANDER MNT. not my favorite but they had them for 259.99- 50.00 instant discount. So I picked one up really like the feel and the quality. Going to punch a few holes with it tomorrow... topped it off with a 6.5 x 20 x 40 Leupold VX 3i
Did it improve the accuracy any? I've been looking into putting one on my vtr. What's your opinion?
I never shot it with the factory stock but it is a 1/2 inch rifle at 100 if i do my part . i shoot 168 Berger Classic hunter
I did not shoot it with factory stock either.. I shot a couple groups half inch or better with hand loads.

Good information. I have been thinking about getting one for my Rem 700 300 win mag. $50 rebate make it a no brainer.
