Yep. Some of us own more than one rifle that takes the same mags, like AK and ARsI doubt it. I think most of us were self-censoring. I have a couple three magazines around here somewhere.

I kept FAL mags for many, many years, hoping to get a FAL one day.Does it count if you have magazines for guns you don't even own?

I believe in having lots of mags, same as ammo. As a result, I honestly don't know how many mags I have for my handguns, and that's a good thing. I will have to dig them all out and make a count. Hopefully I can remember all the places I've stashed them.
Several times throughout the year I will buy an extra mag or two just because, and almost every time I am in a sporting goods store, I buy a p mag or two. They are there, they are inexpensive, and I like having them.
I do not forget what it was like not being able to buy them. It sucks.
It depends on its use to me . Carry guns I gotta have at least 10 as I’ll end up abusing some during practice .
If it’s a home defense gun maybe 5-6
Range toys 2-3
I'm the same way. I try and snag an extra mag here and there when possible no matter how many I currently may have. About a month ago at the Cobb Civic Center show I landed up buying 10 Lancer AR mags just because the price was right. Will I ever shoot with them? Very doubtful, but knowing that it was just a few years ago when I saw the "panic pricing", I will never let myself pay those markups again. The fact that dealers were charging as much as $25 for a 30 round Pmag was an eye opener for me.
