Would you guys trade a milled MAK 90 for an SOLGW patrol rifle with the 14.3" barrel. Im pondering the question because I prefer the full freefloat handguard as opposed to the pinned front sight/gas block.

Is the mak 90 all original You can’t just buy a milled mak 90 anymore, I’d hold on to it and buy a SOLGW or trade something else
I am an AR guy, but you just can not get or order a norinco mak, you can a SOLGW. But if you are not really an ak guy then yes
I would buy a SOLGW and keep the MAK.

Love me some SOLGW. If you do it, I can easily cut down the front sight so that it will slip under a free-float handguard. I do 1-2 a week nowadays. Bring it to me and I’ll knock it out while you wait.
I am going to need to go that with an AR I have, once I get a handguard for it. Not a SOLGW, i wish it was
I have a Daniel Defense and an Aero Precision factory builds but have heard good things about Sons. I think I'm just going to hold onto the Mak. You guys are right...it'll be easier to get a Sons one day when and if Armageddon comes to an end. I think we have a bigger problem finding ammo these days anyway..
