I have an East German European Union issued Makarov. It has never done that. The E.German ones are claimed to be the best of all 6 countries that produced this arm back in the day. Also its said the Bulgarian and Hungarian versions have horrible triggers. 9mm luger should not be shot in this nor should a .380 round. They are 1 mm different in size
