That is a good price.
But last time I checked the 1895- 16.5" SBL Made famous by that dinosaur movie,JM, And Remlin was discontinued by Ruger, and is now the length of the JM guide gun.. Hopefully that has, or is soon to be changed in the lineup soon.

The SBL is 18” and the trapper is 16”. This is the only two configurations Ruger has produced so far. My SBL was $1240 OTD and the Trapper was $1140 OTD ordered in through a local shop.
