Marlin camp 9

I just purchased a camp 9. Did some reading on putting 20 lb spring and new buffer in it. I am also considering putting a scope on it. Anyone have 1 that could give me some pointers? I bought it with original 12 round mag plus 2 20 rounders and 3 30 rounders. I paid 425 for it. Tell me I got a deal. Gun is in good shape with some blemishes on stock, but I am planning on refinishing it.

Thanks, I thought I was getting a great deal. He set the price and told me it was probably low. All he wanted was enough money to buy a revolver he had his eye on.

I bought a Camp 9 about 10 years ago for $20 from a fella hard up for his next fix lol. It was a fun little rifle. My wife's uncle, before he passed owned a Marlin 45. Now his daughter has everything and has yet do anything with it.
