Of course the governor should be held accountable for the people he appoints to stupid positions like these.
He is 100% accountable for the actions of the people he appoints.
This is exactly why legislators shouldn't be able to create committees/agencies/bureaucracies with appointed positions. They just get the EPA, BATFE, and other alphabet soup agencies to make "regulations" that are enforced as laws, then offload responsibility by saying "I didn't know they would do that after I appointed them!" when in reality, they very well knew what was going on.
