Dude...everything because global warming.
Like one person on the Blaze said, how does global warming melt subterranean ice, but leave the surface still frozen solid enough that there was a blowout rather than a slow seepage through thawed ground?
Also, last I checked, when water freezes, it EXPANDS. Therefore, when it thaws it CONTRACTS. Since this certainly appears to be a blowout, not a sinkhole, I call BS on global warming.
If that were the case, anything that big would have left tracks after it exited that hole. It does looks like whatever caused that hole came from underground though.

Then wtf is this thing? If it is not deep and endless (what I'm assuming Tony2X is referring to, ie. Hollow earth theory) what the heck is going on here?

Wasn't trying to be derisive...at this point it could be anything from zombie dinosaurs to manbearpig to aliens. Natural? maybe. I don't think so. If I had to guess I would say it has something to do with a forgotten Soviet project or some such.
