I just can't warm up to this thing aesthetically. I'm hoping that within a few more years integrally suppressed handguns will become sleeker and this version of the Maxim will become a curio and a dinosaur. That's just me.

That's actually the same discussion with my buddy. Its the gen 1 and its a premium price point, plus the keymod on the bottom is already dated.

However just like a car if your always after the newest and greatest, you'll never actually get what what you want. Sure there will be a new model out eventually, but this one is available today.
