May be time to kick Comcast to the curb...........

TV is the biggest waste of money ever. I can't believe the amount of money people spend to sit in front of a box and destroy brain cells.

I believe that package runs DSL for internet access.
If so tell them to POAR. You will get better bandwidth with some string and a few soup cans.

It says "Internet Svc: AT&T internet, formerly known as AT&T U-verse, is high speed internet provided over an advanced digital network."

Maybe it has changed. Tried that route several years ago and found out it was DSL. The speed was a deal killer, the TV piece was great.

But I don't watch that much tv...

The type of internet service you get depends on where you live. DSL exists only where dsl is the only option.

If you live in a Uverse area, you'll probably get the slowest speed, about 12m. I don't download much, but it's perfectly capable of streaming in HD.

Check your speed with AT&T. Slick salesperson got with to sign up before I cancelled them. They were going to be 12x slower for regular and only 8x slower with the upgrade over Comcast. Comcast is a PITA; but at least it works most of the time.

You get HULU, Netflix, Crackle, any show and episode you can think of as it's released and movies about 1 week after they're released at the theater. It's awesome

Comcast puts a data cap for those considered in the Atlanta region. They recently raised it but, if you have a household with high usage, you could easily put yourself in a world of hurt.

Funny just had the almost same call Today with AT&T. 4th call this year during a 12 month contact and they have increased the bill for the last time. Cutting the cable, going to a HD amp TV antenna and a fast internet provider of some type. Tired of the lies from them and temporary credit that's gone in a month or two. Had them for about 12 yrs, now to vet out Straight Talk for the phone.
