Member negatives

It would be really interesting to see a list of how may negatives were given by members to other members. Maybe we could add that stat to a member’s profile?
I would probably use that stat as much as the stat showing how many negs a member had received lol.

Well, based on the above rules why would the mods allow a negative based on a “verbal conversation” to ever be posted in the first place? I mean it violates all the rules above right?
I guess I’m just not understanding something...do mods review and approve negs? Before they are posted against a member? Or is the neg just posted without scrutiny for meeting above guidelines and then it’s just up to the poor sob who got a neg (that should have never been allowed under site rules) to contest the neg?
I’m not trying to start **** here, just trying to understand how it works.

Yea well I think when you hit 1000 positive ratings then your account should be “neg-proofed” lol.

I say if there’s a dispute, before any negative comment is allowed to be posted there should be some type of arbitration process or a way to allow other members some type of a good faith option to remedy/ cure the situation at hand, whatever it may be. I’m thinking more along the lines as an attorney would in some type of civil litigation. But hey, just and idea. Time consuming at best... I’m sure. That way it would make people think twice before posting anything, making them think more before doing something that could potentially ruin someone else’s good name or character. I’m kind of in the same boat and agreement with Lionheart . This was a good thread and props to Lionheart for bringing up a very important issue. From time to time the basics must be refreshed which admittedly we all forget and could use that refresher.

I negged a guy once and it stuck,for a while. I was never asked about removing it. a mod determined he would remove it after it had been approved.

i got negged as retaliation for leaving a negative for a piece of **** no shower. they removed the negative i received after i asked the mods about it. just be proactive and make sure its all discussed in PM before a meet. you can leave neutral though saying you had a verbal agreement and he backed out or something, i dont see the issue there but negative is for being cheated, lied to outright, or a no show

I believe the member has to fill up or ask for a review. Sending a message to MODs by the private button on the help page. I truly believe any of the MODs would do a fair job looking into it. Just needed to be challenged.
