Ted Nugent's Cat Scratch Fever covered by Pantera
Black Sabbath's Planet Caravan by Pantera

War Pigs - Black Sabbath of course, but covered by Faith No More
Alice Cooper's No More Mr. Nice Guy covered by Megadeth
Did we do Paranoid yet?
Van Halen's Panama has been covered by lots of bands including Pat Boone of all people.
Then there's California Girls,I ain't got nobody, and Just a gigolo all on the same Van Halen album
VH's Jump has been covered so many times by so many bands it's wild.
You guys have given me some songs to add to the list!Me and my Bro iN laW get into all the time about covers. Just because a hardcore band does a softcore cover doesn't make it badass. I love some bands that have done covers that I hate: Seether and Disturbed to name a couple (those always get us fighting), just different preferences IMHO, no biggie. The cover better add to the song to make me want to listen to it over the original. For example, and I may be rediculed, I will listen to Trivium's cover of Master of Puppets over the original anyday. There is bass that is audible and the production is amazing, the sound quality is nothing short of badass, and the vocals are just raw. Check it out.
