Had a garage sale once, early-bird guy offered me $10 for something I had marked $15. I said "sure", he pulls out a wad of $20 bills, I asked him if he had the correct change, he didn't. So I tell him if I have to make change then it's back to $15. He left and I sold it for $15 later to someone else.

If I post an ad for a price and someone asks me "what's your best price" and I tell them in a PM and THEN they come back and LOW BALL me and I say no, and THEN they throw in their own MORE LOW BALL price and conditions and tell me they think "that's a fair price", I ghost them. You asked for 'best price' and you got it. What part did they not understand?
