I gave $259.00 plus tax for the Ultratech. I didn't price the smaller knife while I was there.The knife you are speaking of is a UTX-70. What is Martin getting on the Ultratechs? I am sure I can beat his prices

Not to de-rail the thread, but I've looked at these knives and they (folders and otf's) look pretty fragile. What's the appeal? I'm assuming fit, finish and materials are top shelf, but they don't look like they would last long if they were used a lot, at least the non-fixed blades.
