I am sure that I saw something. It is possible that it could have been a jet flying under 2000 AGL at near supersonic. I do not commonly see that in my area.

It was a flight of F-16 out of Dobbs. They flew Friday and Saturday

Ya know what is funny? The night that this post was made my girlfriend was driving back to Jefferson from Covington, GA. At the clearing on pleasantville rd, she saw three lights hovering in formation but no sound? This was around 7pm. She said they sat there for a while then they just vanished. It was too early to for stars and it didn't sound like a jet engine. Just complete quiet.

Maybe the jets were battling it out? :O

F16s are exceedingly loud even for fighters, I know as I have damaged hearing from being on the flightline with them for a long while.
