Mmmm........Tanerite.

I've used a lot of Tannerite over the years.

Putting a pound of it on a shelf in the middle of a small apartment sized (dorm room size) refrigerator was great. The biggest piece of that thing we found afterward was about the size of notebook paper. Thousands of little pieces no bigger than playing cards or tree leaves.

Of course I had to shoot through the closed fridge door and know exactly where my bullet would go on the inside of the appliance in order to set off the bottle of Tannerite. So in that respect, I was actually using tannerite as a reactive target -- the explosion let me know that my calculations on how to shoot through the door (blind) were right.

One of these days I want to use tannerite to make a det cord or shock cord --about 50 feet long. Just to see if I can get the explosive to propagate that far using just a tiny amount of it in the tube.
