Modify Rossi 28ga to sawed off revolver

Yes, I would do all the legal stuff I'm supposed to . Now that we have that out of the way. I'm wondering about using Raging Judge pistol grip in place of the stock. Then cutting down the barrel. Would be home defense weapon. Thoughts?

Since home defense does not normally require concealment, I would use the rifle as is. It is already pretty small. And, it is easier to aim quickly in its full size form.

Go full size, and get some of those newer .410 shells that have the three copper disks in them. Seriously nasty damage.

Long guns are impractical for home defense.

Not to argue, but how are carbines too long for home defense? Every police swat team uses them for house raids.

28 gauge is .550 . That will be a registered destructive device due to over .500 bore diameter . Send in a form 1 and have at it

I know of no law that will allow a ordinary shot gun to be modified to less 18 inches. dos.

If you turn in a form 1 to the ATF, they will give the permission needed to make the modification or they will deny the request.
