So I'm new to all of this - both buying guns and shooting altogether.
I am definitely looking for one of the following: Mosin Nagant 91/30, M44, Type 53. I'm obviously looking at something inexpensive to learn and have fun with. I'd like to spend no more than $125 on a decent weapon.
I'm also in the market for a .22 rifle, semi auto- bolt if necessary... On a budget too unfortunately.
Now, let me offer the disclaimer that none of these weapons have to be pretty. None of them have to have amazing or even impressive action. I am willing to get my hands dirty and work with the weapons. All i ask is that they fire relatively straight and are safe enough to use.
I'm a beginner but I'm not lazy nor am I here because of some political reaction. I want to learn to shoot for protection, for a hobby, and for the lifestyle... I just need some pointers and advice.
First of all, whats a good inexpensive 22?
