Mosin nagant, M44, Type 53, .22 rifle

I got an M44 in pretty rough shape off of here for $100 and it's beautiful now, just keep your eyes peeled. The type-53s are great rifles, you can't go wrong with a mosin nagant (unless you bubba it). They had 5 type-53s at Clyde Armory a few days ago when I was there for $119, tI'm hey weren't pretty but that sounds like what you are looking for.

Just my opinion again but I wouldn't pay over $105 for a 91/30 (for an average shooter) or over $120 for a hex receiver (again for a shooter). Collecting them is a whole other virus that you will contract very quickly, the rifles tend to multiple rapidly (especially an M44).

As I'm typing this I started thinking, I may have just the ticket for an M44. I got it awhile back to work on but haven't had the time. It has all the parts and functions but needs a heavy dose of elbow grease (the numbers are matching). PM sent.
For .22lr you should get an m69 Romanian trainer, awesome bolt rifle to learn on and can be had for under $150 in good shape.
