Mossberg opinion?

I like my plain ol mossberg 500 with an 18" barrel and shorter 12"lop hogue stock. It's not as sexy as the tactical **** but it's lighter, cheaper and will do the exact same thing as the rest on that list in a home defense situation.

they are all great guns, but for me, its the 500, the 590 was a good bit heavier and that extra weight did noting for the intended use, HD,

You're absolutely right my nose does sit right on top of my thumb. I like it though for close quarters it keeps the gun closer to me and I have more control over it.

590 A-1. I like the heavier walled barrel and the metal components that are plastic on the other models.

590 or 590A1. Full stock and tube-fed.

I’ve seen too many 500’s choke and puke to trust them. Only folks I would recommend a 500 to are my enemies.

Mossberg is best bang for the buck (aka mossberg > 870)

I like the 590 thickness (that sounds gay)
